City of Redding Approves Parklet Policy

At the June 19th Redding City Council approved a policy for parklets (see below). What is a parklet? An outdoor seating area–often with planters and lights–that is suited to outdoor dining experiences. A parklet is small; it takes up the space of approximately 2 parking spaces. Sometimes it is also called a StreetDeck.
