Chico Delegation Visits Downtown Redding for “Lessons Learned”
Today a delegation of community leaders from Chico, CA visited downtown Redding. The objective of this meeting was to engage in a peer-to-peer exchange between our two neighboring communities. Both fire-affected cities with an interest in housing, this meeting is an opportunity for a high-level overview of recent downtown Redding revitalization efforts.
The Chico delegation asked questions on lessons learned, and The McConnell Foundation joined with K2 and a team of city staff and council members to share the vision for the Block 7 mixed use development project, and how it is coming to life so far.
